Well, October has come to an end (crazy, right?), so here’s a look back at what went on around here last month.
1. I had a blast shopping at World Market and throwing together this fun Fall-themed Snack Station, complete with a painted drink dispenser.
2. Our family took a fun vacation to Charleston, SC, and I shared some photos of the beautiful homes we saw there.
3. I got some new cute wall decals for our basement playroom, and one of my readers won a $50 credit to Curly Q Wall Decals and Decor.
4. I shared my Halloween Vignette arrangement along with a breakdown of how each part of it was made.
5. My friends and I took a much-needed girls’ weekend to Savannah, GA, and I shared our adventures in two separate posts. One post focused on shopping and the other on sightseeing.
6. I talked about our fun blogger meetup at the Country Living Fair, and shared a picture of the antique typewriter I totally regret not buying.
7. I introduced you to a new monthly subscription service called Celebrate Crate, perfect for crafty DIY-loving folks like me. I also showed you what I did with the contents of my October Celebrate Crate.
8. I made my own laundry detergent and stenciled/painted a cute glass jar to store it in.
9. I shared an easy Halloween craft: cute Mod Podge Lanterns.
10. I reviewed Ana White’s new book, “The Handbuilt Home.” There’s a giveaway going on now, so be sure to enter to win your own copy!
Other giveaways on the blog last month included a $50 Amazon Gift Card from IZEA Media, and 2 readers won copies of two E-Books from Kristen Duke Photography.
Did you get some projects done during the month of October too? I’d love to hear about them!
{P.S. Are you new here? I’d love it if you would follow my blog via RSS or email, plus be sure to connect with me on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!}
