I thought it would be fun to take a look back at the last year on the blog and highlight some of the posts that have gained the most traffic, along with a few of my favorites. I’m coming up on my one year “blogiversary” too – hard to believe it’s almost been a year! Let’s take a walk down memory lane.
Top 10 Posts (Based on Web Traffic):
1. Beginner’s Guide to Painting Furniture
8. Bold, Modern Furniture Makeover
9. Vintage Library Cabinet Makeover
10. Quatrefoil Wall Art Tutorial
Also right up there at the top of the “most popular” list was the Singer One Sewing Machine Giveaway.
My Favorite Projects
As for my personal favorite projects of the year, I’d say the Library Cabinet will always be at the top of the list, along with this refinished dresser.
Here are my other faves:
1. DIY Party Banner
I created this party banner for my son’s 4th birthday party.
2. Super Hero Phone Booth
I made this vintage Superman-style phone booth, also for my son’s birthday party.
3. DIY Wedding Pomander Bouquet
I actually had a lot of fun creating this bouquet for a bloggers’ wedding project challenge.
4. Kid’s Colored Chalkboard Table
I love this project because my boys have had so much fun with it.
5. Cloth Napkin Pillow Tutorial
I enjoyed this project because it was fun and easy, and I was able to gift these pillows to my sister.
6. DIY Laundry Jar + Homemade Laundry Detergent
This project has made the task of doing laundry a little more bearable. I love my new detergent!
7. DIY Mason Jar Lid Christmas Ornaments and Monogrammed Glass Ornaments.
I have lots of fun projects up my sleeve for the upcoming year, so I hope you’ll stick around and keep reading. Thank you so much to each and every one of you! I appreciate you all so much.
