We all know I love simple, inexpensive craft/decor projects. Know what I love even more? Free ones! This one couldn’t be any easier. For the cost of a small bottle of gold acrylic craft paint (which I already had on hand), you can make this vase filler with pine cones you probably already have lying around your yard (or can swipe from your local park).
All you need is a bunch of pine cones, a foam brush, a paper plate and metallic gold acrylic craft paint. I poured a little bit of paint onto my paper plate, then sponged it onto the edges of my pine cones using the foam brush.
Let them dry, then fill up a vase and add some branches (which you can also find in your yard) for a perfect Fall home accent or centerpiece.
You could also use these pine cones to make a wreath or other pretty seasonal decor. (Hmm, I might be doing that very soon. Stay tuned!)
Have you made any easy Fall crafts lately? I’d love to hear about them!
P.S. Just an early heads up that I won’t be posting much, if at all, next week – I’m taking some time off to hang with family. But be sure to check back later this week for a Singer Sewing Machine Giveaway! (So excited about it!)
