Well folks, we are moving along in the nursery and making some progress. The good news is the baby has somewhere to store his or her clothes! I am so excited to have a new white IKEA Hemnes dresser in the room.
I minimally assisted with the assembly process — Chris took on this project along with some “help.”
It took some time to put together, but to be quite honest we were expecting it to be more difficult. The instructions were straight-forward and Chris figured it out pretty easily. There were lots and lots of pieces, but he did a great job!
I love the scale of the furniture — the dresser is quite large, solid and sturdy, and it’s definitely something that our child can grow with and hang onto for years to come. It’s great quality and will provide ample storage space for cute onesies and footie pajamas. 🙂
I can’t wait to get the rest of the room put together so I can share a final “reveal” with lots of photos. I’ll include sources for everything in the room when I post the room reveal. We’re not quite there yet, but we will be soon!
UPDATE: You can see the finished nursery reveal here.
Disclosure: I received this IKEA dresser for free to review. All opinions are my own.
